Kostas Hatzis (Greek: Κώστας Χατζής) (born August 13, 1936) is a Romani singer-songwriter and musician.Kostas Hatzis born in Livadeia, a city in central Greece. He is one of the most significant composers in the Greek social song. He is the one who has substantially imposed the "voice-guitar" style, and for the first time he made ballads with social messages heard.His grandfather was a great popular clarinettist, and his father also played very well the dulcimer.
