Kurt Matthias Robert Martin Hahn CBE (5 June 1886, Berlin – 14 December 1974, Salem) was a German educator whose philosophies are considered internationally influential. He founded Outward Bound, the Duke of Edinburgh Award, and the United World Colleges.
