The L&YR Class 26 was a class of 2-6-2T steam locomotives of the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway. It was designed by Henry Hoy and introduced in 1903. Twenty locomotives were built but 3 were withdrawn in 1922, so 17 passed to the London, Midland and Scottish Railway at the grouping in 1923.
