Léon Orthel (4 October 1905, Roosendaal – 6 September 1985, The Hague) was a Dutch composer, pianist and teacher.In 1921 he became a student of the Royal Conservatory of The Hague. He studied violin with André Spoor, piano with Eduard van Beinum and composition with Johan Wagenaar.
