Le Roy, or more commonly LeRoy, is a town in Genesee County, New York, United States. The population was 7,641 at the 2010 census. The town is named after one of the original land owners, Herman Le Roy.The Town of Le Roy lies on the eastern edge of Genesee County. Within the town is a village also named Le Roy.
