Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events is a 2004 American dark comedy fantasy film directed by Brad Silberling. It is a film adaptation of the first three novels of A Series of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket. The film stars Liam Aiken as Klaus Baudelaire, Emily Browning as Violet Baudelaire, Kara and Shelby Hoffman as Sunny Baudelaire and Jim Carrey as the villainous Count Olaf, with narration by Jude Law.
