A. Lin Whitworth (born December 28, 1933) is a former Democratic county commissioner from Bannock County, Idaho. He previously served in the Idaho State Senate and was a candidate for the United States House of Representatives in 2004.Whitworth was elected to the Idaho Senate in 1994, defeating Republican incumbent Karen McGee. He was reelected in 1996, 1998 and 2000 but resigned midway through his fourth term.
