Lorraine C. Miller of Fort Worth, Texas was the 35th Clerk of the United States House of Representatives. Miller, currently a commercial real estate broker, served as the first African-American clerk of the U.S. House of Representatives from 2007 to 2011 and has been a member of the national board of directors of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People since 2008.
