Mabini is a second class municipality in the province of Compostela Valley, Philippines. According to the 2010 census, it has a population of 36,807 people.Mabini was formerly known as Doña Alicia, and was given its modern name only in 1954, in honor of revolutionary Filippino Apolinario Mabini y Maranan.
