Sir Malcolm John Grant, CBE, FAcSS (born 29 November 1947) is the Chairman of NHS England, formerly known as the NHS Commissioning Board. Born in New Zealand, he is also a barrister and academic lawyer.Grant was appointed as chair of the newly formed NHS Commissioning Board in 2011 by the Secretary of State for Health, Andrew Lansley.
