The Masnavi, or Masnavi-I Ma'navi (Persian: مثنوی معنوی‎‎), also written Mathnawi, Ma'navi, or Mathnavi, is an extensive poem written in Persian by Jalal al-Din Muhammad Balkhi also known as Rumi, the celebrated Persian Sufi saint and poet.
