Matthew Causey is an American academic, film and theatre maker, singer/songwriter and actor. He is Associate Professor at Trinity College Dublin (Ireland) and Director of the Arts Technology Research Laboratory in the School of Drama, Film and Music.Causey studied acting for two years at the California Institute of the Arts. He later went to NYU and studied under Michael Kirby and Richard Schechner. Causey earned a PhD from Stanford University in 1995.
