Maud Robinson Crawford (June 22, 1891 – March 2, 1957) was an American attorney in Camden, Arkansas, who disappeared without trace. As partner in a law firm investigating Mafia influence over labor unions, she was believed kidnapped by the mob. But a local newspaper report in 1986 alleged that one of her clients had been defrauded by a corrupt businessman and police commissioner Henry ‘Mike’ Berg, whom Crawford had confronted.
