Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu (born 5 February 1968) is a Turkish politician who served as Turkey's Minister of Foreign Affairs from August 2014 to August 2015, when an interim government was appointed. He is also a member of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, where he represents Antalya Province. First elected to Parliament in the 2002 general election, he is a founding member of the Justice and Development Party (AKP).
