Middlesbrough railway station serves the large town of Middlesbrough in the unitary authority of Middlesbrough and the ceremonial county of North Yorkshire, England. The station is managed by First TransPennine Express and has two covered platforms. Each platform is subdivided into two sections i.e. platform 1 (1a and 1b) and platform 2 (2a and 2b).
