Milan Township is a civil township of Monroe County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 1,670 at the 2000 census. The southern portion of the City of Milan bounds the township to the north, though the city and township have been completely separate jurisdictions since the former Village of Milan was elevated to city status in 1967.
