Milan Zver (born 25 May 1962) is a Slovenian politician, sociologist and political scientist who serves as vice-president of the Slovenian Democratic Party. Between 2004 and 2008, he was Minister for Education and Sports in Janez Janša's centre-right government. In the European elections of 2009, he received the highest number of preferential votes in Slovenia, and was subsequently elected to the European Parliament.He is a member of the Reconciliation of European Histories Group.
