Miroslava Němcová (born 17 November 1952) is a former Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic. She was elected to this office on 24 June 2010. She has been the Member of the Chamber of Deputies since 1998, she represented Civic Democratic Party (ODS). She is married and has a son.On 19 June, 2013, the Civic Democratic Party nominated her for the post of the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic, replacing Petr Nečas, who resigned over a corruption scandal.
