Molly Jong-Fast (born August 19, 1978) is an American author. She wrote about her life as a girl in 1990s New York, a period in which she used drugs and alcohol heavily. In 1997 she underwent a substance abuse rehabilitation program at the Hazelden Foundation.She is the daughter of Erica Jong and Jonathan Fast, and the granddaughter of Howard Fast. She is the author of a novel, Normal Girl, a memoir, Girl [Maladjusted], and The Social Climber's Handbook (published in 2011 by Random House).
