Morgan County is a county located in the U.S. state of Utah. As of the 2010 census, the population was 9,469. Its county seat and largest city is Morgan. The county was named for Jedediah Morgan Grant, father of Heber J. Grant, who served as president of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.Morgan County is part of the Ogden-Clearfield, UT Metropolitan Statistical Area as well as the Salt Lake City-Provo-Orem, UT Combined Statistical Area.
