Munawwar Hasan (May 15, 1964 – December 10, 2008) was an Indian politician for the Muzaffarnagar constituency in Uttar Pradesh. He was killed in a road accident near Palwal in Haryana. The accident occurred at about 1.15 am when Hasan was travelling from Mathura to Delhi in a Scorpio vehicle, which collided with a truck coming from the opposite direction near Banchari village on National Highway 2. Forty-four-year-old Hasan was brought dead to the Apollo Hospital at 3 am.
