General Myat Hein (Burmese: မြတ်ဟိန်း) was a Burmese general and the commander of Myanmar Air Force. As such he is titled as the Commander-in-Chief (Air).During 2001, Myat Hein held the rank of colonel and served in the post of Chief of Staff (Air). The following year, Myat Hein remained as Chief of Staff (Air), and was promoted to brigadier general. By 2003 he had been appointed Commander-in-Chief (Air) and held the rank of major general.
