Nancy Ann Nord was a commissioner on the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). She was also the only Republican commissioner during several years of her tenure, though she served alongside Hal Stratton at the beginning of her tenure, and Anne Northup and Ann Marie Buerkle near the end of her tenure. The U.S. Senate confirmed her appointment by President George W. Bush on April 29, 2005; she was sworn into office on May 5 of that year.
