Nauman Steele Scott, II (June 15, 1916 - September 19, 2001), was a Republican-appointed federal judge in the United States District Court for the Western District of Louisiana, who served from 1970 until his death in 2001.In 1980, he ordered cross-parish busing guidelines to foster racial balance in Rapides Parish public schools.
