Nokko (born November 4, 1963) is a Japanese singer-songwriter. She was the lead singer of the band "Rebecca" which had a string of hits in Japan in the 1980s. She was born in Urawa, Saitama, as Nobuko Yamada (山田 信子, Yamada Nobuko). As Nokko, she had hits in Japan with her solo career throughout the 1990s, as well as releasing an English language album in the US with production and mixes by both Goh Hotoda and Francois Kevorkian.
