Norman Stiles is a television writer, born in 1942, best known for his work on the show Sesame Street from 1971 until approximately 1995. As part of the Sesame Street writing team, he received eight Daytime Emmy Awards. He also wrote for NBC‍ '​s 1976-1977 situation comedy The Practice. In 2011 he participated in the Old Jews Telling Jokes program adapted from the book by Sam Hoffman and Eric Speigelman and shown in the United Kingdom on BBC Four.
