Péter Boross (born 27 August 1928) was the second Prime Minister of Hungary from December 1993 to July 1994. He assumed the position upon the death of his predecessor, József Antall, and held the office until his coalition was defeated in elections by the socialist party, which was led by his successor Gyula Horn. He previously served as interior minister under Antall from May 1990 to December 1993. He also served as political advisor to prime minister Viktor Orbán.
