Paddy "Balty" Ahern (23 October 1900 – 2 October 1971) was an Irish hurler who played as a centre-forward for the Cork senior team.Born in Douglas, Cork, Ahern first excelled at hurling during his schooling at Crab Lane National School. He arrived on the inter-county scene at the age of eighteen when he first linked up with the Cork senior team. He made his senior debut during the 1919 championship.
