Papi (Paupe) is an alleged Sepik language spoken in Sandaun Province, Papua New Guinea. Glottolog leaves it unclassified:Typological arguments are not sufficient to conclude a Leonard Schultze family with Walio. The lexical evidence does not show any conclusive genetic relationship either, be it inside or outside Leon[h]ard Schultze, or with Duranmin (a higher figure (29%) of Papi–Duranmin lexicostatistical relations ... is superseded by later, below 10%, figures...).↑ ↑ 2.0 2.1
