Patrick Joseph "Pat" Quinn, Jr. (born December 16, 1948) is an American politician who served as the 41st Governor of Illinois. A member of the Democratic Party, Quinn began his career as an activist by founding the Coalition for Political Honesty and served as Governor from 2009 until 2015.Born in Hinsdale, Illinois, Quinn is a graduate of Georgetown University and Northwestern University School of Law.
