Patrick Edward Hession (born April 29, 1968) is an American trumpet player, educator, and author. He first became known for playing trumpet with Lionel Hampton Big Band in the early 1990s, and afterwards played lead trumpet for three years in the Glenn Miller Orchestra. In 2000 he became lead trumpet in Big Bop Nouveau, the band of his trumpet idol Maynard Ferguson.
