Pattambi is a Town and Municipality at the western end of the Palakkad district of the state of Kerala, South India. It is also the headquarters of the Taluk of the same name. Situated on the banks of the Bharathappuzha river (also called the Nila or Perar), it has a rich cultural heritage and has played host to many historic events. Once under Nedunganad Samanthas of Chera Kings.
