Paul Tirard (2 June 1879 – 23 Décember 1945) was chairman of the Inter-Allied Rhineland High Commission from 1919 to 1930. He took up residence in the Oberpräsidium.He was born in Croissy-sur-Seine, Yvelines into a family of industrialists. He studied law before becoming a career civil servant. In 1912 he was involved in setting up the colonial administration of the French Protectorate of Morocco.
