Peperomia wheeleri is a rare species of flowering plant in the pepper family known by the common name Wheeler's peperomia. It is endemic to Puerto Rico, where it is known only from the island of Culebra. It has been become rare because of deforestation and grazing by livestock. It is a federally listed endangered species of the United States.This plant grows on the rocky island Culebra, anchoring in the humus that accumulates on the weathered granodiorite boulders covering its surface.
