Petr Nečas (born 19 November 1964; Czech pronunciation: [ˈpɛtr̩ ˈnɛtʃas]) was Prime Minister of the Czech Republic from 2010 to 2013. He also served as leader of the Civic Democratic Party.Nečas was sworn into office as Prime Minister on 28 June 2010. He resigned on 17 June 2013, in the aftermath of a police investigation in which his chief of staff and alleged mistress Jana Nagyová (now Nečasová) was arrested. Jana Nagyová was released from custody on 19 July 2013.
