Franklin Pierce Lively (born August 17, 1921) is a United States federal judge.Born in Louisville, Kentucky, Lively received a B.A. from Centre College in 1943 and served as a Lieutenant (J.G.) in the U.S. Naval Reserve during World War II, from 1943 to 1946. He received an LL.B. from the University of Virginia School of Law in 1948, and was a law clerk to Shackelford Miller, Jr. of the U.S. Court of Appeals, Sixth Circuit from 1948 to 1949.
