Pomegranate soup is a Persian and Mesopotamian dish (āsh) made from pomegranate juice and seeds, yellow split peas, mint leaves, spices, and other ingredients. It is called āsh-e anār in Iran (Persian: آش انار; Azerbaijani: انار آشی).
