Pooc is one of the 22 barangays of the city of Talisay on the island of Cebu, in the Central Visayas region of the Philippines. It lies between Mohon to the north, Biasong to the east, the Bohol Strait (sometimes known as the Cebu Strait) to the south, and the Municipality of Minglanilla to the west. It covers an area of 155,428 hectares and has 12 sitios. The barangay is populated largesly by the middle-income bracket of Talisay's inhabitants.
