Pulihora (Telugu: పులిహోర), or Puliyodhara, or Chitrannam is a very common preparation in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Indian cuisine. Puli means sour taste. Pulihora is also referred to as sour rice. Other names are tamarind rice.
