Qi Jianguo (Chinese: 戚建国; born August 1952) is a general of the People's Liberation Army of China. He has been Deputy Chief of the PLA General Staff Department since 2012. He formerly served as Commander of the 12th Group Army and Director of Combat of the PLA General Staff. A participant in the Sino-Vietnamese conflicts, he is one of the few serving PLA generals with battle experience.
