Raja Vasireddy Ramagopala Krishna Maheswara Prasad, popularly known as Muktyala Raja (4 October 1917 – 28 August 1972) was instrumental in the construction of the Nagarjuna Sagar Dam, the tallest masonry dam in the world, in the state of Andhra Pradesh, India, which is across the river Krishna.
