Willie "Red" Ballantyne was a Scottish association football inside right who played in both Scotland and the United States.Ballantyne played for both Greenock Morton and Clyde F.C. before jumping to the Boston Soccer Club of the American Soccer League in 1924. He was back in Scotland with Clyde F.C. a year later. However, after two seasons with Clyde, Ballantyne returned to the United States to sign with the New Bedford Whalers.
