Ricardo Ffrench-Davis (born June 27, 1936) is a Chilean Economist. He is Professor of the Department of Economics and the Instituto de Estudios Internacionales at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile.Together with a few other Chilean students he got the chance to study at the University of Chicago in the 1950s. Those students were later named Chicago Boys. He earned his Ph.D. in economics from the University of Chicago in 1971.
