Gilbert Anthony "Rick" Foley (September 22, 1945 – September 29, 2015) was a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman who played 67 National Hockey League (NHL) games with the Chicago Black Hawks, Philadelphia Flyers, and Detroit Red Wings. He also played 11 World Hockey Association (WHA) games with the Toronto Toros.Foley's most memorable moment occurred while playing for the Philadelphia Flyers against the New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden.
