Robert Stanley Folkenberg, (born January 1, 1941 in Santurce, Puerto Rico), served as General Conference president of the Seventh-day Adventist Church from 1990 through to his resignation in 1999. His tenure was marked by an unprecendant growth in church membership and his “Global Mission initiative” in the Adventist Church. He is now working to further evangelism within the laity of the church through worldwide programs through ShareHim/Global Evangelism.
