The Rothmans 50,000 was a motor race held at the Brands Hatch circuit on August 28, 1972. The race was held to Formula Libre rules and the prize fund amounted to £50,000. Emerson Fittipaldi, driving a Lotus 72 F1 car, won the race from pole, whilst Brian Redman, driving a McLaren M19A F1 car, took second and Henri Pescarolo, driving a March 711 F1 car, finished third.
