Samuel Chandler Crafts (October 6, 1768 – November 19, 1853) was a United States Representative, Senator and the 12th Governor of Vermont.Born in Woodstock, Connecticut, Crafts graduated from Harvard College in 1790 and moved in 1791 to Vermont with his father, who founded the town of Craftsbury. He married Eunice Todd Beardsley and the couple had two children.
