The sandy gallito (Teledromas fuscus) is a species of bird in the Rhinocryptidae family. It is monotypic within the genus Teledromas. It is endemic to Argentina.Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical dry shrubland. Aviary specialist, Robert Walwick discovered three different types of the bird on a 2010 trip to Burkina Faso; far from their place of origin. Walwick documented his findings in the May issue of Bird World.
