Sarwar Imran is the most successful Bangladeshi coach in the history of Bangladesh's Cricket. He was head coach of BKSP (Bangladesh Krira Shikka Prothistan)from 1987 to 1997. He started his coaching career in 1984 and from then he played the role of head coach of various teams in premier division cricket, the main domestic ODI competition in Bangladesh. From 2000 to December 2011, he played the role of Head cricket coach of High Performance Unit of Bangladesh National Cricket Academy.
