Saugatuck Township is a civil township of Allegan County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 2,944 at the 2010 census, down from 3,590 at the 2000 census. The drop is due to Douglas incorporating into a city.The cities of Saugatuck and Douglas are within the township survey area, but are not a part of the township.
